Showmars Donates $5,000 To Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Foundation

CHARLOTTE, NC (Sept. 13, 2012) – In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in celebration of Showmars 30 year anniversary, the Charlotte area restaurant makes a sizeable donation to the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation.

“Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation is honored to accept a $5,000 contribution from Showmars to support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.  Each step we take brings pediatric cancer patients everywhere closer to the futures they deserve: happy, healthy and full of choices.  We are appreciative of the community support and look forward to a continued partnership,” said Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation representative Katie Harty.

Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation at CMC-NorthEast has been designed specifically with children in mind. Here, they have created a friendly environment for pediatric patients and their families, knowing that children have different needs best served in a space entirely devoted to their care.
