

The Showmars Greek Salad has been on the menu since 1982, rooted in the Greek culinary traditions our founder brought from the Mediterranean to Charlotte, NC. It hasn’t changed much because it doesn’t need to.
Romaine, iceberg, and spring lettuce mix, topped with kalamata olives, crumbled feta cheese, pepperoncini, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions. Every ingredient earns its place. The kalamata olives bring a briny depth that sets this apart from a generic side salad. The feta is real and generous, not a token sprinkle.


The Greek Salad stands on its own as a full lunch or light dinner, but add grilled chicken, gyro or salmon and you’ve got something even more satisfying.
We don’t batch salads and let them sit. Every Greek Salad is assembled fresh when you order, so the lettuce stays crisp and the feta holds its shape. You can taste the difference.


The Showmars Greek Salad has been a Charlotte staple since we opened on Independence Blvd. in 1982. And it still fits the way a lot of people eat today. It’s naturally vegetarian, and it can be made gluten-free by requesting no pita bread. But we didn’t engineer it that way. It was always made with the right ingredients and nothing extra.
