At Showmars, we show our commitment to the Carolinas through charitable volunteer work, donations and various events throughout the year. Whether sponsoring a neighborhood soccer team, hosting a 5K or holding a food drive, Showmars believes in helping others in order to build a stronger community.
Levine Children’s Hospital/5K
Showmars’ annual Pediatric Hearts 5K & Kids’ Fun Run is a family-friendly event benefiting Levine Children’s Hospital and the Partnership for Pediatric Hearts; a platform dedicated to supporting pediatric cardiovascular services for local families.
When it comes to your child’s heart, getting the best care available is all that matters. With nationally recognized, board-certified pediatric cardiac specialists, the Congenital Heart Center at Levine Children’s Hospital is the preeminent pediatric cardiac center in the region. 100% of the proceeds from the Pediatric Hearts 5K & Kids’ Fun Run benefit Levine Children’s Hospital.

Receptions for Research: The Greg Olsen Foundation Golf Tournament
Showmars is proud to be a presenting sponsor of the Receptions for Research: The Greg Olsen Foundation Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Levine Children’s Hospital’s The HEARTest Yard Initiative, founded by Carolina Panthers tight end, Greg Olsen.
Greg and his wife Kara joined with Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC, to form The HEARTest Yard initiative, which provides families of babies affected by congenital heart disease with a variety of healthcare services, including in-home, private nursing care, physical therapy and speech therapy.
The goal of The HEARTest Yard initiative is to help families as they adjust to this new life of having a child with a congenital heart defect. Through the fund, parents may deduct money from a predetermined medical benefit. The program does not charge families to use the benefit, and the hospital has no additional expense either.

American Heart Association
Between 2012 and 2014, Showmars raised over 75,000 dollars for the American Heart Association Go Red For Women Movement. In honor of American heart Month, Showmars added several heart healthy menu options and donated a percentage of their sales to the movement.
Go Red For Women encourages awareness of the issue of women and heart disease, and the action to save more lives. It challenges them to know their risk for heart disease and take action to reduce their personal risk and gives them the tools they need to lead a heart healthy life.
Raising donations for the American Heart Association provides the opportunity to advance their mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The American Heart Association is always seeking ways to increase communication with the public and to create tools and resources to help them manage and prevent heart disease.

WSOC TV’s Family Focus Program
Showmars has been a proud WSOC TV Family Focus Program partner supporting community efforts and continually giving back to those in need. Showmars serves as a collection location several times a year for the Family Focus program and always makes sure to offer incentives for those who donate to programs like Steve’s Coats for Kids, the Summer Food Drive, and School Tools.
Charlotte Soccer Academy
In 2016, Showmars enthusiastically signed on as a sponsor of our area's only full service youth soccer club, Charlotte Soccer Academy (CSA). CSA offers its members the chance to play and develop at all ages and levels. To honor this commitment, Showmars will host three family nights at select locations throughout the year, donating proceeds to CSA's in house scholarship program. This partnership also allows Showmars the opportunity to assist CSA in other efforts throughout the season to support the youth of our community through the positivity of sports.
